The role of Human Resources has evolved dramatically over time from administrative watchdogs to a business critical function with significant impact on all strategies and programs involving people. Increasingly, organizations have come to the realization that people comprise a major portion of their overall expenditures and a key to their ultimate success.
Many decisions involving people were made at the storied “table”. Human Resources hasn’t always been invited to that table and decisions involving people were often made without their input.
A fundamental issue, however, is that the elusive “table” doesn’t really exist. Decision making doesn’t happen because of the furnishings in the room and the resultant seating arrangements. It happens as a result of expertise provided, respect for opinions and value-added to the decision making process.
The HResults Academy has been established to deal directly and candidly with the dilemma facing decision making around people issues. We provide dialogue and development from three perspectives:
Using a combination of learning and problem solving techniques, the HResults Academy offers discussion forums, skill development programs and people strategy facilitation to bring together the talent and knowledge required to make practical and effective people decisions.
HResults Academy programs and activities are offered through public sessions or can be customized to your organization.
